Dr. Wen-Shan Sung (Dr. Wen) is the Medical Director of R Clinic, a certified fellow of Cosmetic Physician, renowned for his expertise in advanced laser dermatology, energy-based treatments, non-surgical face and body contouring, and minimally invasive hair restoration. With a commitment to blending science, artistry, and cutting-edge technology, Dr. Wen integrates technical precision with artistic finesse, ensuring natural, harmonious results tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
With extensive training in injectables, laser technology, and energy-based skin rejuvenation, Dr. Wen focuses his expertise in addressing complex skin concerns such as acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, and age-related texture changes. He is at the forefront of radio-frequency assisted treatments using INMODE technology, including FaceTite and Quantum RF, for non-surgical facial sculpting and body contouring.
In addition, Dr. Wen is a pioneer in hair restoration, having established Canberra’s first dedicated hair transplant centre specializing in Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE). Having personally experienced hair loss (alopecia), he brings a unique level of empathy and expertise to the field, helping patients regain confidence through advanced hair transplant techniques.

Beyond aesthetics, Dr. Wen is a self-proclaimed data geek, with a keen interest in machine learning and its applications in healthcare innovation. He is currently completing a Professional Certificate in Data Science from Harvard University.
