Dermal gel treatments emulate hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that binds water, lubricating and cushioning movable body parts. By replenishing the skin with this substance, dermal gel treatments instantly revitalize and add volume to the treated area, diminishing lines and wrinkles for a softer, more natural appearance. Different grades of gel are used to treat various areas of the face, such as the lips, cheeks, and under the eyes.

Gel treatments are a practical, non-surgical method designed to soften creases and folds, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and increase or restore volume to the face. At the R clinic, we take pride in our patients’ dermal gel treatment outcomes. Each treatment is tailored to the individual, with results visible immediately. However, it may take up to four weeks for the filler to fully integrate into the tissues for the final result. Our focus is on reducing wrinkles, contouring the face, creating natural-looking enhancements, and restoring volume without compromising facial expressions. A complimentary review appointment at two weeks allows for any necessary adjustments.

• One week prior to the treatment – Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications (such as aspirin, ibuprofen) or supplements (such as St. John’s Wort, Gingko biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng).
• Two days prior to the treatment – avoid topical products such as Tretinoin, Retinol, Glycolic Acid.
• Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours prior.

Following your personalized treatment plan, we will begin with a thorough examination of your facial structure to ensure optimal results. We will explain the treatment process in detail, along with comprehensive aftercare instructions. The procedure duration ranges from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the specific areas being treated.

Although the treatment is typically painless and causes minimal discomfort, individual experiences can vary. Your safety and comfort are our utmost priorities throughout the procedure. Our team is committed to making your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

For 12 hours post-injection, refrain from using makeup. Apply a cool compress to the treatment area and avoid heat-inducing activities for 24 hours. Pressure on the area should be avoided for the first 48 hours. Additionally, abstain from alcohol and air travel for three days post-injection. Follow specific instructions regarding cosmetic products and activities for optimal recovery.
