Your first appointment is a comprehensive skin consultation with our doctor-led team.

We take a full history — how long the concern has been there, what you have already tried, what made it better or worse, and anything medical or hormonal that may be driving it. Your skin is then assessed properly, including the layers you cannot see in a mirror.

Most people arrive with a treatment in mind. We start with the diagnosis instead, because the right treatment depends entirely on what is actually happening in your skin.

Skin plans are staged. Barrier repair and prescribed skincare usually come first, because treating inflamed or compromised skin with an aggressive device makes it worse. In-clinic treatments follow once the skin is ready, and maintenance keeps the result.

Where prescription treatment or a Universkin formulation is appropriate, that forms part of the plan. Where a treatment is not right for you, we will say so.

Treatments are performed in our Belconnen clinic by trained clinicians, with your doctor-led plan directing what happens at each visit.

Skin is reassessed at every appointment. Settings, actives and intervals are adjusted based on how your skin responded last time — not run to a fixed protocol regardless. Downtime and aftercare are explained before you commit, not on the day.

Skin conditions are managed, not cured. Acne and pigmentation both recur when treatment stops and the underlying drivers are still there.

We review your progress against the plan, adjust what is not working, and move you to maintenance once the condition is controlled — which is usually less intensive and less expensive than the active phase. Your skincare prescription is reformulated as your skin, and the season, changes.
